Athletes of the Week

Boys soccer: Brandon Crutchfield of Snohomish had three goals and two assists in a 7-1 victory over Stanwood.

Baseball: Michael Brady of Monroe batted 4-for-5 with a home run and five runs batted in in a 16-6 win over Marysville-Pilchuck.

Co-Softball: Kori Seidlitz of Mountlake Terrace pitched a four-hitter and hit two doubles in a 7-2 win over Lynnwood and had a game-winning home run in the seventh inning of a 1-0 victory over Everett.

Stacie Todd of Granite Falls became the first player in the program’s history to hit for the cycle in a 13-8 win over Sultan. A catcher, she also had four assists with two pickoffs and two caught stealings.

Boys golf: Reid Martin of Kamiak shot even-par 72 and registered an eagle 2 on the 335-yard, par-4 11th hole at Harbour Pointe Golf Course in a win over Shorecrest and Mariner.

Girls golf: Caiti Nelson of Kamiak scored 32 Stableford points over nine holes at Jackson Park Golf Course in a win over Shorewood, Shorecrest and Mariner.

Girls track: Whitney Hooks of Cascade won the shot put at the prestigious Arcadia (Calif.) Invitational with a throw of 47 feet, 1.75 inches. She was more than 3 feet clear of the field, which included many of the nation’s top shot putters.

Co-Boys track: Jake Roberts and Isaac Teichgrab of Stanwood led the Spartans to a third-place finish at the Renton Invite. Roberts was first in the 1,600-meter run, Teichgrab won the 400 and both ran legs for the victorious 1,600 relay team.

Girls tennis: Samantha Lim of Shorewood won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles to lead the Thunderbirds to a 7-0 victory over Jackson and into sole possession of first place in the Wesco South. Lim is 5-0 and has yet to lose a set this season.
