Kamiak football
The senior quarterback completed 26 of 35 passes for 270 yards and threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Rebel Hall with a minute to play to give Kamiak an 11-7 victory over Meadowdale.
Not only did he have a great finish, Iddins had a great start to his first game as a starter. Iddins, who played behind Gary Rogers (now at Washington State) last season, completed his first five passes.
“Mark prepared himself for that moment,” Kamiak coach Dan Mack said. “He has worked hard for four years at the quarterback position. He’s a poised, confident young man.”
Mack said receivers like Hall, Taylor Knowles and Sean Hermes as well as the offensive line played a role in Iddins’ performance.
“He completed a mix of things,” Mack said. “He sees the field well. He has the ability to step up in the pocket and make throws.”
