BOYS BASKETBALL: Kingma scoreed 31 points in just three quarters of a 78-61 win over Mariner and 20 of his 29 in the second half of a 61-50 win over Shorecrest.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: O’Hara scored 30 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a 77-21 win over Granite Falls and scored 23 points in a 47-32 win over Cedarcrest.

@5. Sports notes lead:OLIVER DURAND | MARYSVILLE-PILCHUCK

BOYS SWIMMING: Durand swam state qualifying times of 1 minute, 59.33 seconds and 56.09 in winning the 200-yard individual medley and 100 backstroke races and swam a leg for the winning 200 medley relay team, which also posted a state qualifying time of 1L:42.67, as M-P secured the Wesco North dual-meet championship with a 112-71 win over Oak Harbor.

BOYS WRESTLING: Clarkson pinned all three of his opponents at 285 pounds as the Knights posted wins over Edmonds-Woodway, Mariner and Meadowdale to win the Wesco South dual-meet championship.

@5. Sports notes lead:CASEY MATHER | STANWOOD

GIRLS WRESTLING: Mather won the 112-pound championship and was named the Outstanding Wrestler of the Meet for the 103-135-pound weight classes in Jackson’s Lady Wolfpack Inviational.

@5. Sports notes lead:JAY GRINAKER | CASCADE

GIRLS BOWLING: Grinaker rolled a 216 game and a 534 series to qualify for the state meet during district competition.
