BOYS BASKETBALL: Kaska scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a 65-52 win over Monroe, scored a game-high 18 points in a 50-47 win over Marysville-Pilchuck and scored a season-high 33 points with five 3-point goals in a 79-58 win over Oak Harbor.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: Ohlsen scored 20 points and had six steals in a 54-41 win over Lake Stevens; scored 21 points and had six steals, four assists and six rebounds in a 58-43 win over Arlington, and scored a game-high 23 points in a 57-40 win over Stanwood.

@5. Sports notes lead:GARREN RIECHEL | SNOHOMISH

BOYS SWIMMING: Riechel swam state qualifying times in winning the 200-yard individual medley (2:02.25) and 100 breaststroke (59.00) and swam on two winning relay teams in a 95-85 win over Cascade.

BOYS WRESTLING: Villani helped his team win the 50-team Tri-State Tournament by finishing first at 152 pounds.

GIRLS BOWLING: McConnell rolled a 555 series as the Bruins seized first place in Wesco with a 2-1 win over Everett.
