Brittany Allen of Archbishop Murphy pitched a two-hitter and struck out 17 batters as the Wildcats tied Granite Falls for first place in the Cascade Conference with a 1-0 win over the Tigers. Allen also pitched a no-hitter and batted 3-for-4 in a 2-0 win over South Whidbey.
Baseball
Dylan Lavelle of Lake Stevens was the winning pitcher and homered twice, including a two-run game-winner in the eighth inning of a 4-2 win over Stanwood.
Girls golf
Emily Guthrie of Snohomish scored 67 Stableford points over 18 holes at Snohomish Golf Course to medal in a win over Monroe and Stanwood and 65 Stableford points over 18 holes at Cedarcrest Golf Course to medal in a meet with Marysville-Pilchuck and Lake Stevens.
Girls tennis
Chelsea Boulton of Arlington won a third-set tiebreaker 10-8 to win at No. 1 singles in a 4-3 victory over Marysville-Pilchuck.
Boys golf
Mark Strickland of Kamiak shot a 3-under-par 69 over 18 holes at Harbour Pointe Golf Course to medal in wins over Meadowdale, Mariner and Mountlake Terrace.
Boys soccer
Devin Mendiola of Jackson scored two goals and assisted on three in a 6-1 win over Lynnwood.
Boys track
William Broadlick of Edmonds-Woodway threw the discus 152 feet to break an 18-year-old school record in a Wesco South meet with Lynnwood and Mariner and finished first in the discus at the eight-team Lake Stevens Viking Classic.
Girls track
Shantae Young of Oak Harbor won the 100-meter dash, long jump and triple jump in a Wesco North meet with Marysville-Pilchuck and Monroe and won the long jump and ran a leg for the winning 400 relay team in the 14-team South Whidbey Westling Invitational.
