Girls basketball
Katie Benson of Snohomish scored four of her game-high 15 points in the fourth quarter of a 37-32 win over Cascade and had 16 points, six rebounds and four blocks in a 51-33 winner-to-state victory over Marysville-Pilchuck.
Boys basketball
Michael Minor of Mariner had 16 points and four steals in a 53-52 win over Marysville-Pilchuck and scored seven of his game-high 23 points in the fourth quarter of a 51-49 winner-to-state victory over Lake Stevens.
Girls wrestling
Christina Ordonez of Lakewood had a first-period pin to win the 152-pound state championship. Ordonez finished 19-0 in matches against girls, winning 18 by pin.
Boys wrestling
Stefan St. Marie of Snohomish won all four matches by pin en route to the 135-pound state championship. St. Marie finished 39-0.
Boys swimming
Garren Riechel of Snohomish won state championships in the 50-yard freestyle and 100 breststroke, setting a meet record of 54.49 seconds in the latter event.
