Girls swimming
Amber McDermott of Jackson swam automatic All-America times of 2:01.50 in the 200-yard individual medley and 4:46.68 in the 500 freestyle and swam on two winning relays in leading her team to the 4A District 1 championship.
Girls soccer
Katie Reese of Jackson, the lone senior on the team, scored the game-winning penalty kick in a 1-0 shootout win over Kamiak in the 4A District 1 championship game.
Boys cross country
Nick Devier of Lakewood ran a season-best and second-best career time of 16:15 in finishing ninth in the 2A state meet.
Girls cross country
Jade Borseth of Stanwood equalled the best individual finish in school history when she took fifth-place in the 4A state meet.
Volleyball
Kylin Munoz of Monroe had 29 kills and five aces in a 3-0 win over Oak Harbor as Monroe posted an undefeated league record and secured the Wesco North championship.
Football
Bryan Morse of Jackson intercepted a pass in the end zone — one of three goal-line stops by Jackson — to preserve a 10-10 tie and give the Jackson offense the opportunity to drive to the game-winning score in a 16-10 win over Tahoma.
