Athletes of the Week

Girls soccer Jenna Herman of Monroe scored two goals and had an assist in a 5-0 win over Oak Harbor as the Bearcats clinched a 4A District 1 playoff berth and a goal in a 2-1 win over Snohomish, the Panthers’ first loss this season.

Volleyball Cailin Fellows of Edmonds-Woodway had 21 kills in a 3-0 win over Cascade and 19 in a 3-1 win over Jackson.

Boys tennis Andy Monro of 3A Everett and Richard Oam of 4A Jackson each won their respective district championships.

Football Brice Herrick of Everett completed 16 of 25 passes for 234 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-14 win over Lake Stevens.

Boys cross country Yon Yilma of Edmonds-Woodway won the 4A District 1 championship.

Girls cross country Ellie Bonner of Snohomish won the 4A District 1 championship.
