The Everett Merchants defeated the Northwest Honkers 10-4 at Everett Memorial Stadium Friday night.
The Merchants (1-1) were led by Ty Holm, who was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Mark Medelia added more offense for Everett, going 3-for-4 with a double, a single and a two-run homer.
On the mound, Merchants starter Cody Culp threw six innings of four-hit ball, giving up a single run.
