EVERETT — Kyle Beach of the Everett Silvertips will not play in the team’s Western Hockey League games this weekend because of a concussion, the Silvertips said Friday.
Everett plays Portland on Friday night and Spokane on Sunday, both in Everett.
Beach, the Silvertips’ leading scorer, suffered a concussion when he was punched by Spokane’s Chris Bruton at the end of Wednesday night’s game in Spokane.
The WHL suspended Bruton for the Chiefs’ game Friday night in Seattle.
