Bellingham nips M-P 60-58 in opener

BELLINGHAM – The Marysville-Pilchuck Boys basketball team opened up it’s season Tuesday night at Bellingham with a 60-58 loss.

Jake Brog led Bellingham with 18 points in the non-conference win.

M-P’s Jared Stohl led all scorers, hitting six 3-pointers and scoring 24 points for the Tommies.

“It was a great season opener,” Marysville-Pilchuck coach Mike Lowery said. “They shot very well and we just couldn’t pull it off.”
