Best of the Tips: Day 1

The Tri-City Herald’s annual Best of the West poll was released this weekend. Everett had three category wins, with defenseman Ryan Murray winning for Best Skater and Best Pro Prospect, while defenseman Josh Caron won for Toughest Player.

And, of course, the arrival of the Best of the West means it’s Best of the Tips week on the blog. So it’s time to get your voting shoes on.

A quick reminder of how this works:

– I will post a handful of polls each day from Monday through Thursday. That will include most of the categories from the Best of the West, as well as a few of my own.

– Each day’s polls will only be open for approximately 24 hours, so make sure you get you votes in early.

– If you choose the “other” option, please write in your choice in the comments section for that particular blog.

– I’ll include my vote in each category in those comments section.

– A summary of the poll results will be posted Friday.
