EVERETT — Inaki Baragano and Quinn Schmiemann scored goals in the second period to erase and early deficit and the Kamloops Blazers held on to defeat the Everett Silvertips 3-1 on Friday evening at Angel of the Winds Arena.
Brendan Lee scored on assists from Jackson Berezowski and Max Patterson at 3:28 in the opening period as Everett jumped out to a 1-0 lead.
Connor Zary added an empty-net goal with time running out to complete the scoring.
The loss snapped a three-game win streak for the Silvertips (4-3-0-0).
Dustin Wolf stopped 36 of 38 shots for Everett.
Dylan Garand stopped 33 of 34 shots for Kamloops (4-4-0-0).
