The midseason Naismith Trophy list was trimmed to 30 players today, and UW senior forward Jon Brockman made the cut. Brockman is one of only two Pac-10 players on the list along with ASU’s James Harden.
And speaking of ASU, Thursday’s showdown with the Sun Devils was the big topic of converstation today, and everyone admitted that the game will be one of the biggest they’ve been apart of. Brockman said it’s probably the biggest regular season game he’s ever played in (remeber, he was around for the NCAA tournament run in 2006), and Lorenzo Romar said he can’t remember a game as big since that tournament run three years ago.
And one other Brockman note, he wanted to point out that he now has a Twitter page where fans can keep up on his day-to-day life. He joked that his goal is to get more “followers” on his twitter account than new football coach Steve Sarkisian has on his.
