• Pacific Little League of Lynnwood and Edmonds is accepting registration for its 2012 spring baseball and softball seasons. Play begins in March for players ages 5-16. For more information or to register, visit www.pacificlittleleague.com.

• Registration for the City of Lynnwood’s Adult Softball Leagues opens Jan. 23 for returning teams and Jan. 25 for new teams. Men’s, women’s and coed leagues are available. The team fee is $650. For more information, call 425-670-5732 or visit www.ci.lynnwood.wa.us/softball.

Basketball

• The Mukilteo-based WestCoast Basketball Academy is looking for experienced coaches for its spring session. The positions include stipends. For more information, call coach Miller at 206-465-2401 or send an email to westcoastbasketball@comcast.net.

• Life Unlimited is offering a Men’s Basketball League in Monroe. Play starts Jan. 22 at Monroe High School. Four divisions are available. The team fee is $575. To register, call 360-794-6467.

• The Lynnwood Royals Girls Basketball Feeder Program is offering skills training for players in grades 4-8. The spring sessions begin in March and run until June, The cost is $75. For more information, contact Mike Pivec at 425-318-0968 or mikepivec40@yahoo.com.

Football

• Tryouts for Stanwood Spartan Arena Football (ages 13-14) are scheduled from 6-7:30 p.m. on Jan 23 at Soccer First in Arlington (19805 74th Ave. NE). The event concludes with a parent meeting. For more information, call coach Mike Hurn at 425-652-4046.

Soccer

• Seattle Sounders FC is holding open tryouts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 21-22 at the Starfire Complex in Tukwila. The tryouts are for players ages 18 and older. The registration fee is $125. Space is limited. To register, visit www.soundersfc.com. The registration deadline is Jan. 20.

• Archbishop Murphy High School in Everett is looking for a head boys soccer coach for the upcoming season. Practice begins Feb. 27. For more information, contact the school’s athletic office at 425-385-3464.

• North Sound SeaWolves FC is holding an open tryout from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 18 at Edmonds Stadium (7600 212th St. SW). The tryout is open to legal residents of the United States who are 16 or older. Registration forms are available at www.seawolvesfc.com. The registration fee is $32 online and $50 at the field.
