Baseball/Softball

  • The City of Edmonds is accepting registration for its Summer Softball Leagues. Men’s and coed teams are available. Play begins June 22. The team fee is $625. For more information, call Todd at 425-771-0229.
  • Tryouts for the City of Arlington’s Hardball League are scheduled for 6 p.m. on June 16 and June 23 at Evans Field in Arlington. The league is for players ages 21 and older. Play starts in July. The cost is $75. For more information, call Sarah Higgins at 360-403-3448.
  • The third annual Ripken Sandlot Classic Summer Baseball Series is scheduled for June 25-27 at Gaffney Field in Everett. The tourney is for 11-U teams. The team fee is $500. For more information, call Dave at 425-259-5147.
  • The Everett-based Seattle Select 15U baseball team is looking for three players. Positions of need are catcher and infield/outfield. The ability to pitch is a plus. For more information, contact Darren at 425-422-1882.
  • Club Nine Baseball is accepting registration for its July Summer Camps in Lynnwood. The dates are July 12-16 and July 19-23. The camps are for players competing at the U8-U13 levels. Sessions are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $130. For more information, call 425-512-0556.
  • Basketball

  • The Meadowdale Youth Basketball Camp is scheduled for July 12-15 at Meadowdale High School. The camp is for boys and girls in grades K-9. Sessions are from 8 a.m. to noon (grades K-4), from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (boys in grades 5-9) and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (girls in grades 5-9). The cost is $90 per player.   • The Alderwood Boys &Girls Club is offering a Summer Basketball League for boys and girls going into grades 4-12. Games begin July 13. The team fee is $350. For more information, call Paul Keen at 425-774-3022.
  • The Everett High School Girls Basketball Camp is scheduled for June 28-July 1 in the Everett High gym. The camp is for players heading into grades 3-8. The cost is $50. For more information, call John Low at 425-385-4534.

    Hockey

  • The Everett Silvertips are offering a Four-on-Four Street Hockey Tournament on July 17 in the parking lot adjacent to Comcast Arena in Everett. Three age divisions are offered: 9-12, 13-17 and 18-and-older. The registration fee is $100 if paid by June 27 and $120 afterward. For more information, call the Silvertips at 425-252-5100.
