  • The City of Edmonds is offering Adult Summer Softball Leagues. Divisions available include men’s D, men’s E and coed. The team fee is $600. Play begins June 23 at Meadowdale Playfields. For more information, call Todd at 425-771-0229.
  • Cal Ripken Summer Sandlot Baseball Classic Tournaments are scheduled for June 26-28 (U-11); July 10-13 (U-13); July 24-26 (U-8/9), and Aug. 14-16 (U-12). The tournaments are hosted by the Everett Boys &Girls Club. For more information, call Dave at 425-259-5147.
  • The Snohomish County-based Washington Pirates U17-18 Baseball Team is looking for pitchers for the current season. For more information, call Joe Darling at 425-422-5109.
  • Basketball

  • Registration for the City of Mountlake Terrace’s Summer Adult Men’s Basketball League runs through June 28. Games are on Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning July 6. The cost is $550 per team. For more information, call Jeff Betz at 425-640-3101.
  • The third annual LUAU Basketball Tournament is scheduled for June 6-7 in Lake Stevens and at Meadowdale High School. The tournament is for boys and girls teams in grades 4-12. The team fee is $225. For more information, call 425-744-1860.
  • The City of Edmonds is offering a Three-on-Three Halfcourt Basketball League on Wednesday nights beginning July 1. The team fee is $130. For more information, call Todd at 425-771-0229.
  • Football/Cheerleading

  • Everett Youth Football and Cheer is accepting registration for the 2009 season. Football is for ages 6-14. Cheerleading is for ages 8-14. In-person registration is scheduled from 6-7:30 p.m. on June 3 and 18, and July 9 at Izzy’s Pizza. For more information, call 425-346-5466.
  • Physicals

  • The Oak Harbor Wildcats Booster Club is offering a Sports Physical Night from 5-7 p.m. on June 4 at Oak Harbor High School. The physicals are for high school and middle school athletes. The costs are $30 for one athlete or $60 for a family. For more information, call 360-279-5708.
  • Volleyball

  • The City of Edmonds is offering an Outdoor Grass Coed 4-on-4 Volleyball League on Monday evenings at the Frances Anderson Center. Play begins June 15. The team fee is $125. For more information, call 425-771-0230.
  • The Bruin Cub Volleyball Camp is scheduled for June 30-July 2 at Cascade High School. Sessions are from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The camp is for players who will be grades 5-8 next fall.
