Baseball/Softball
• Tryouts for the Marysville Baseball Association’s select teams are scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on Aug. 24, 29 and 31, and from 1-3 p.m. on Aug. 28 at Marysville-Pilchuck High School. The teams are 12-U through 16-U. For more information, send an email to baseball.mba@g

• The second annual Northwest Basketball Coaches Clinic is scheduled for Sept. 24-25 at Lake Stevens High School. Among the nearly two dozen college and high school coaches scheduled to appear are University of Washington women’s coach Kevin McGuff, Gonzaga women’s coach Kelly Graves, Eastern Washington University men’s coach Jim Hayford and University of Washington assistant men’s coach Jim Shaw. Golf
• The Snohomish Men’s Club Junior Scramble is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 17 at Snohomish Golf Course. The event is a two-person scramble, with each team made up of one adult and one junior golfer (age 17 or younger). The entry fee is $30 for adults and $10 for juniors. Pickle Ball

Running
• The Camano View Dash is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Aug. 27. The event, which starts and ends at Utsalady Elementary School on Camano Island, offers a 10K run and a 5K run/walk.
