It’s expected that Steve Sarkisian will announce some or all of his coaching staff sometime early this week, and word out of the Bay Area is that California’s offensive line coach, Jim Michalczik will be Washington’s offensive coordinator.
Michalczik is a WSU grad and is from Port Angeles. He’ll stay on with the Bears through their Dec. 27 Emerald Bowl appearance.
On the other side of the ball, word from LA is that Sarkisian has offered the defensive coordinator job to USC secondary coach Rocky Seto, who says he’s still considering the offer. It’s also being reported that USC grad assistant Yogi Roth will be hired as Washington’s quarterbacks coach.
