Even people who don’t follow sports know the name Terry Ennis.
Ennis was a legendary high school football coach who ranks No. 2 on Washington’s career victories list. His five-year battle with cancer ended early this morning when he died at University of Washington hospital in Seattle.
Ennis coached 35-plus seasons, most recently at Archbishop Murphy High School. Read more about him here. Look in Thursday’s Herald for additional details on Ennis’ life and thoughts from the people who knew him.
