EVERETT — The Cascade High School football team and the Jackson High School girls basketball teams each hired new coaches Thursday, with Jordan Sieh taking over the Bruins this fall and Corey Gibb moving from Mariner High School to lead the Timberwolves.
In a press release, Everett School District athletic director Robert Polk said, “Jordan is highly respected by the athletes and coaching staff at Cascade and plans to provide direction and stability to the program.”
Sieh, a Cascade alumnus, has taught at his alma mater since 2015 and has been an assistant football coach since 2011. He replaces Shane Keck, who resigned on April 10 after three seasons with the team.
Gibb, who led the Marauders to their first postseason appearance in more than two decades last season, will take over Jackson’s girls basketball program.
He began coaching at Mariner in 2007.
