Cornerback Richard Sherman had himself a heck of a game in his first start, picking off Andy Dalton once, and breaking up another deep pass, leading to a Kam Chancellor interception. Both of those passes were intended for rookie AJ Green, the No. 4 pick in this year’s draft.
Sherman was asked about Cincinnati’s two rookies after the game by 950 KJR’s Curtis Crabtree, and boy was he unimpressed with Green. Sherman the last two games has done a lot of trash talking to opposing receivers, and apparently he’s not afraid of sharing his opinion publicly as well.
“He’s probably one of the most overrated receivers out there,” Sherman told KJR. “He wasn’t anything special. Dalton is a good quarterback, he makes good decisions, but AJ Green is just a lot of noise talking and bad routes.”
