SEATTLE — Wide receiver Johnny Spevak passed for Central Washington’s first touchdown and caught a pass for its third as the Wildcats beat Western Washington on Saturday night, 24-7.
It was the fifth “Battle in Seattle” between the North Central Conference rivals. Central (5-1, 4-1) has won four of the five annual games played at Qwest Field against Western (2-5, 1-5), including the last three.
Central, ranked 17th in NCAA Division II, built a 21-0 first-half lead, scoring on its first three possessions.
