Clutch second-half performances help Lake Stevens win

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE -Lake Stevens used the 1-2 punch of Mary Ochiltree and Kristina Schumacher in the second half to take a 61-47 non-conference girls basketball game at Mountlake Terrace Saturday.

Ochiltree started the third quarter off with a 3-pointer and finished with nine of her 16 points in the period.

Schumacher scored 16 of her 18 points in the second half with 10 coming in the fourth quarter.

Nicki Mosman had 14 points, seven assists and six rebounds to pace the Hawks.
