The latest creel checks at coastal ports showed slow fishing generally, north to south. Best results came on coho at Ilwaco, where anglers averaged just under a fish per rod, three-quarters of which were silvers. The checks at Westport showed a little over a half-fish per person, a quarter of which were chinook.
