Baseball/Softball

n Laces Baseball Academy is holding tryouts for the 2013-14 season on the following dates: Ages 15-16, Aug. 6; Ages 13-14, Aug. 7; Ages 17-18, Aug. 8. All tryouts begin at 6 p.m. at Lincoln Field, 2500 Rockefeller in Everett. Basketball

n The 3on3X Basketball Tournament will be held Aug. 10-11 at Arlington Airport. Deadline to register is Aug. 1. Visit www.3on3x.com for more information.

Golf

n The fifth annual T.J. Oshie Charity golf tournament will be held Aug. 9 at Stanwood’s Kayak Point Golf Course. The event benefits the Seattle Totems Jr. A hockey team and the Seattle Junior Hockey Association.

The cost for a four-person team is $400, which includes golf, cart, gift and other special games to be announced at the event.

Lacrosse

n The City of Edmonds, the Edmonds Boys &Girls Club and the Edmonds Chiefs Lacrosse Club are offering a Lacrosse Camp July 29-Aug. 1 at Civic Playfields. The camp is for players ages 6-12. Quadrathon

n Quadrathon 2013 is scheduled for 8 a.m. on July 28 in Lake Stevens. The event includes a 300-yard swim, a five-mile bike ride, a three-mile run and a one-mile paddle boat race. The entry fee is $30 for an individual or $60 for a team. Registration runs from 6:30-7:30 a.m. the day of the race at the public boat launch in downtown Lake Stevens. Running

n The AquaRun 2013 is scheduled for July 27 in Lake Stevens. The event includes 10- and five-kilometer races as well as a Kids’ Fun Run. The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. at Lake Stevens High School, followed by the 10K (8:40 a.m.) and the Kids’ Run (9:30 a.m.). Online registration ends July 22. Soccer

n The Triton Youth Soccer Camp is scheduled for Aug. 5-9 at Edmonds Community College. Sessions are 9 a.m. to noon (grades K-7, coed) and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (grades 8-12, girls only). The fees range from $130 to $250. For more information, call 425-640-1415 or visit www.edcc.edu/soccercamp.

Tennis

n The City of Mountlake Terrace is offering Adult and Teen Tennis Lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Sept. 5. Sessions are 6:30-7:30 p.m. (beginners) and 7:30-8:30 p.m. (intermediate) at the Evergreen Playfields tennis courts. The costs are $35 for residents and $40 for non-residents.
