Baseball/Softball

n The City of Edmonds is accepting registration for its Adult Softball Leagues. Play begins March 13 at Meadowdale Playfields. Men’s and coed leagues are offered. The team fee is $712. For more information, call Todd at 425-771-0229 or visit www.reczone.org.

n Tryouts for the Puget Sound Senior Baseball League are scheduled for March 10 and 24 at Bellevue College (3000 Landerholm Circle SE). Sessions are 9 a.m. to noon (players 35 and older) and noon-3 p.m. (19 and older). For more information, visit www.pssbl.com or call 425-957-1430.

n Mill Creek Parks and Recreation is offering a Pro Baseball Camp on April 5-6 at Mill Creek Sports Park. The camp is for players ages 8-13. Sessions are from 10 a.m.-noon. The instructor is former professional baseball player and Atlanta Braves scout Steve Goucher. The cost is $49 for residents and $56 for non-residents. Basketball

n Snohomish County-based Fusion Select Basketball is looking for players for its sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade boys traveling teams. For more information, call Eddie McFerrin at 425-344-6897.

n Registration for the City of Mountlake Terrace’s Men’s Basketball League ends March 25. Three divisions are offered: advanced (A), intermediate (B) and recreational (C). Lacrosse

n The Edmonds Parks and Recreation Department is offering a Lacrosse Camp on April 3-5. The camp is for players ages 6-12. Sessions are from 1-2:30 p.m. at Civic Playfields in Edmonds. Football

n Registration for the Mukilteo Boys &Girls Club’s NFL Flag Football program runs through March 9. The program is for players ages 5-14. Practices start in mid-March and the season runs through early June. The cost is $115 and scholarships are available. For more information, call 425-355-2773.

Soccer

n The City of Mountlake Terrace Recreation and Parks Department is accepting registration for its six-week Kidz Love Soccer program. Sessions begin March 8 at Ballinger Playfields. The program is for players ages 21/2 to 10. The cost is $53 for residents and $58 for non-residents. For more information, call 425-776-9173 or visit www.mltrec.com.

n Fuerza FC is offering free Futsal Clinics through April at the Marysville Boys &Girls Club (1010 Beach Ave.). Futsal is 5-on-5 soccer played on a field about the size of a basketball court. For more information, visit www.fuerzafc.com.

n The Seattle Sounders U-23 team is holding tryouts on March 10-11 at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. Although the team competes in a U-23 league, it is allowed up to eight players over the age of 23, so the tryouts are open to players 18 and older. Preregistration is required. The tryout fee is $45. n The North Sound SeaWolves soccer team is holding its second open tryout from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 24 at the Soccer Complex in Marysville (4808 152nd St. NE). The tryouts are for residents of the United States ages 16 and older. The preregistration fee is $32. The fee is $50 on the day of the tryout. n The five-week North Sound SeaWolves Spring Youth Camp begins March 16 at Mariner High School. The camp, put on by the SeaWolves and British European Soccer Training, is for players ages 8-11. Track and Field

n Jarred Rome’s 2012 Throws Clinic is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 17 at Marysville Pilchuck High School. Rome, who has competed in the Olympics and at the world championships, is a graduate of Marysville Pilchuck. The cost of the camp is $80 if registered by Feb. 22. Afterward the cost is $90 for athletes and $100 for coaches. There is a discount for groups of five or more from the same school. For more information, visit www.jarredrome.org.

Volleyball

n Registration for the Mukilteo Boys &Girls Club’s Spring Volleyball program runs through March 9. The program is for players in grades 3-12.
