Following his wrestling career Casebeer was hired as a teacher and coach at Alderwood Junior High School, beginning a career of more than 30 years as a teacher and coach in the Edmonds School District. He spent 10 years at Alderwood, where he guided the wrestling team to eight district championships. During his high school coaching career, Casebeer coached 25 state participants and one state champion. Among the middle school athletes he coached was Snohomish County Sports Hall of Famer Randy Couture. Casebeer was also a member of the Snohomish County Wrestling Officials Association for 27 years.
