DALLAS — Cowboys tight end Jason Witten says he was a better player with Terrell Owens on the field.
As for the question about the Cowboys being a better team in the locker room without T.O., Witten doesn’t see a real correlation.
Witten said Wednesday, nearly four weeks after Owens was released by the Cowboys, that chemistry is good when teams win.
The Cowboys, a preseason Super Bowl favorite last season, finished 9-7 and missed the playoffs.
The Pro Bowl tight end, the team leader with 81 catches, says last year was a reality check for the Cowboys, but the team has to move forward now.
