The University of Washington’s national championship eight-man crew and coach Bob Ernst were named crew and coach of the year by the Northwest Rowing Council.

And in football news, seniors Marcel Reece and Louis Rankin were invited to play in the Feb. 1 Texas vs. the Nation All-Star Challenge. They are the only members of the football team to be invited to any post-season games.
