The first quarter was a defensive struggle, I guess. Actually more of a really bad offensive performance. Washington can’t run the ball at all, and continues to drop passes. Michael Braunstein will open the second quarter with a big 50-yard field goal attempt. The Husky defense is playing pretty good, especially Dashon Goldson, but giving up too many third downs.
Jason Wells and Donald Butler are both back playing….Now it looks like Washington is going to punt, or maybe fake a punt.
Chris Hemphill hasn’t played, which is a bit surprising given how well he’s played lately.
It looked like Braunstein was practically begging Tyrone Willingham to let him kick and seems pretty upset that he’s not being allowed to.
Washington tried to draw WSU offsides and took the delay of game. Weird decision. Might as well go for the field goal.
