No stranger to coaching Wesco football, Dick Abrams is Monroe High School’s new head football coach, pending approval by the Monroe School Board.
Abrams accepted the job offer on Wednesday, Monroe High athletic director Brett Wille said.
Abrams was formerly the head football coach at Stanwood, Marysville-Pilchuck and Jackson. At Monroe, he replaces Dave Telford, who resigned after coaching the Bearcats three seasons.
I am primarily focused on state hoops today but I will add more details here about Abrams’ hiring as soon as possible.
