EASON FAN GUIDE

More than 1,300 athletes from about 60 teams are expected to participate today in the annual Eason Invitational Track and Field Meet at Snohomish High School (1316 5th St., Snohomish). This is the 21st Eason Invite, named in honor of former Snohomish High track coach Larry Eason, who died of brain cancer in 1987. Here are more details about the meet, including ticket prices and the events schedule.

Tickets: $6 for adults, $4 for students with ASB card, $3 for children and seniors over the age of 65.

FIELD EVENTS

8 a.m. Men’s hammer (followed by women’s hammer)

10 a.m. Women’s pole vault, men’s high jump, women’s shot, men’s and women’s long jump, men’s discus (will start when the hammer is completed), women’s javelin

To follow as above events are completed: Men’s pole vault, women’s high jump, men’s shot, men’s javelin, men’s and women’s triple jump, women’s discus

EARLY TRACK FINALS

10 a.m. Women’s 800-meter relay, women’s distance medley relay (two heats; running order: 1,200, 400, 800, 1,600), men’s distance medley relay (two heats; running order: 1,200, 400, 800, 1,600)

TRACK PRELIMS (to follow above finals)

Men’s 110 hurdles, women’s 100 hurdles, men’s 100, women’s 100, men’s 200, women’s 200
