Lake Stevens quarterback Jacob Eason was named the WIAA 4A Male Athlete of the Week (Nov. 8-14) for his performance in last week’s state tournament opening victory over Issaquah.
Eason completed 24 of 37 passes for 236 yards and three touchdowns as the Vikings defeated Issaquah 42-32, setting up a quarterfinal meeting with undefeated Graham-Kapowsin Saturday.
Each week the WIAA selects 12 varsity athletes, a male and a female from each of the six classifications, who exhibited an outstanding performance the previous week.
