Edmonds Community College women’s basketball coach Jennifer Schooler, whose team ended a 57-game losing streak this season and reached the Northwest Athletic Association of Community College playoffs, has been named the Coach of the Year for the NWAACC’s Northern Division.
The Tritons finished with an 11-15 record, and were 9-7 in league games. Edmonds CC’s Whitney Anderson was named to the all-division’s second team.
Ashley Housden and Mary Ochiltree of Everett CC were both named to the all-division’s first team, while teammate Anna Work was a second-team selection.
For the men, Everett’s Dirk Snel and Edmonds’ Tyler Monroe were both all-division second-team picks.
