The boys and girls soccer teams from Edmonds-Woodway High School will square off against each other at 7 p.m. on June 10 at Edmonds Stadium in an effort to raise money for the Special Olympics.
Admission will be $3 for students and $5 for adults. Donations will also be accepted with all proceeds going to the local Special Olympics.
The local referees association has donated officials for the match.
While the game is for a good cause, it will also feature quite a bit of talent. The Edmonds-Woodway girls soccer team finished third in the 3A state tournament in the fall and the boys team finished fourth at state this spring.
