Calgary Roughnecks forward Shawn Evans earned his second National Lacrosse League Offensive Player of the Week award this season for his three goal and six assist effort in the Roughnecks 15-14 victory over the Rochester Knighthawks last Friday.
Buffalo goaltender Anthony Cosmo earned Defensive Player of the Week honors after saving 46 of 53 shots in Saturday’s 17-7 victory over the Philadelphia Wings.
Johnny Powless was named the league’s Rookie of the Week after recording a hat-trick and four assists in Rochester’s loss to Calgary and Minnesota’s Tyler Hass was named Transition Player of the Week for scoring four goals, dishing an assist and scooping up 10 loose balls in Friday’s 13-9 victory over Philadelphia.
