KENNEWICK — Lake Stevens High School grad Karissa Tri scored 20 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead the Everett Community College women’s basketball team to a 72-62 win over Clark Community College in a Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges tournament consolation game.
EvCC teammate and fellow Lake Stevens alum Mary Ochiltree added 19 points and nine rebounds in the victory. Marysville-Pilchuck alum Brittany Pierce had 11 points and nine rebounds for the Trojans, who face Centralia today at noon in the 4th-7th place game.
Lakewood High School grad Anna Work had 10 points and six assists for EvCC (18-10 overall) and teammate Ashley Housden added 10 points, 14 rebounds and five assists.
