LAKEWOOD — The Everett High School girls soccer team defeated Kennedy 4-1 Friday in the semifinals of the Class 3A girls state soccer tournament.
The victory earned the Seagulls (19-2-1) a spot in Saturday’s state-championship game against either Seattle Prep or Shorecrest. Game time is 6 p.m. at Harry Lang Stadium.
Sele Vance scored a pair of goals for Everett, one in each half. Annie Sittauer and Hannah Hawkins also scored for the winners, who led 3-1 at halftime.
Amy Holland scored the lone goal for Kennedy, which suffered its first loss of the season.
