The Everett Silvertips are in Portland tonight where they will take on the Portland Winterhawks for the first time this season. It’s early, of course, but the winner of tonight’s game will take over first place all alone in the U.S. Division standings.
The teams are intimately familiar with one another having played “30 times” the past two years as Everett head coach Kevin Constantine said Thursday.
