First off, no line combinations are available during the playoffs (news to me), so all I’ve got are scratches.
For Everett, the big news is that Thomas Heemskerk gets the call in goal. The Tips hadn’t announced whether Heemskerk or Kent Simpson would start tonight, but Heemskerk seemed the likely choice. Forwards Tyler Giebel and Josh Winquist and defensemen Gabe Minville, Nicholas Walters and Paul Sohor are all healthy scratches.
For Kelowna, forwards Kyle St. Denis (concussion) and Cody Chikie (shoulder) are out injured. St. Denis is expected to be a long-term absence, but Chikie has returned to practice after a month out. Forward Sean Aschim and defenseman MacKenzie Johnston are healthy scratches.
