Portland is also playing its first road game since the WHL handed out its unprecedented sanctions Wednesday for improper player benefits. Overage center Taylor Peters is scratched, also for unknown reasons. Goaltender Mac Carruth, a favorite of the Everett crowd, gets the night off in favor of Brendan Burke.
