Everett vs. Prince George lineup notes

EVERETT

Forward lines:

Low-Hayer-Stadnyk

Leedahl-Bauml-Hopponen

Winquist-Nikolishin-Bajkov

Aasman-Sandhu-Penner

Defensive pairings:

Pufahl-Juulsen

Betker-Davis

Zipp-Adam

Starting goaltender:

Lotz

Scratches: Petryk, Mappin, Fonteyne, Skrumeda, MacDonald, Skapski.

Notes: Everyone’s healthy and available for Everett’s season opener, though defenseman Mirco Mueller (San Jose) and forward Jujhar Khaira (Edmonton) remain at NHL camps. Winger Reid Petryk is the odd-overager out. Forwards Waltteri Hopponen, Ivan Nikolishin, Patrick Bajkov and Linden Penner make their WHL debuts. It’s difficult to determine the hierarchy of Everett’s four lines as the proven WHL producers are spread out among the four. No one wears the “C,” overagers Manraj Hayer, Joshua Winquist and Matt Pufahl each have an “A” for now.

PRINCE GEORGE

Forward lines:

Bourke-Forsberg-Soltes

Erricson-Harkins-Wilson

Witala-Tkatch-Morrison

Lischynsky-Bolduc-Mrkonjic

Defensive pairings:

McNulty-Bobos

Gonek-Kosterman

Ruopp-Olson

Starting goaltender:

Zarowny

Scratches: Pochiro, Ferguson, Roulston, Carvalho, Grewel.

Notes: Prince George, which opened the season Friday night with a 9-2 loss at Portland, plays without key forward Zach Pochiro, who is presumably suspended following his charging major penalty last night. With Troy Bourke (Colorado) returning this week, the Cougars have all their players back from NHL camps.
