Everett vs. Spokane lineup notes

EVERETT

Forward lines:

Winquist-Bauml-Sandhu

Leedahl-Khaira-Stadnyk

DeRoose-Low-Aasman

Fonteyne-Nikolishin-MacDonald

Defensive pairings:

Pufahl-Davis

Betker-Juulsen

Zipp-Adam

Goaltenders:

Cotton

Lotz

Scratches: Bajkov, Hayer, Mueller.

Notes: Same 20 players for Everett from Saturday night’s 6-3 loss to Vancouver, but a few configuration changes. Daniel Cotton gets his first start in goal in more than a month as Austin Lotz’s string of consecutive starts ends at 13. The Tips also shuffle their defensive pairings, including bringing Micheal Zipp back to play on the blue line while Cole MacDonald serves as a forward. Defenseman Mirco Mueller (World Juniors), center Manraj Hayer (concussion) and winger Patrick Bajkov (upper body) remain out.

SPOKANE

Forward lines:

Zwerger-Aviani-Holmberg

Helewka-Chartier-Playfair

Bechtold-Oneschuk-Whittingham

Hascic-Proft-Cardiff

Defensive pairings:

McIntosh-Wedman

King-Fram

Bobyk/Sozanski-Rayman

Goaltenders:

Williams

Hughson

Scratches: Yamamoto, Stewart, Gow, Rayman/Sozanski.

Notes: Spokane plays without its top defenseman as Reid Gow remains sidelined because of an upper-body injury. The Chiefs are also without center Liam Stewart because of World Juniors. One of defensemen Jeff Rayman and Matt Sozanski will be the final scratch, but the way the lines are listed it appears that Sozanski will be the odd-man out.
