Everett vs. Spokane lineup notes

EVERETT (26-12-3-1)

Forward lines

Leedahl-Bauml-Stadnyk

Mykitiuk-Laurencelle-Scherbak

Bajkov-Fonteyne-Nikolishin

Millar-Low-Wegleitner

Defensive pairings

Betker-Juulsen

MacDonald-Davis

Skrumeda-Pfeifer

Goaltenders

Hart

Lotz

Scratches: Aasman, Wharrie.

Notes: Everett has been searching for the right players to play on a line with leading scorer Nikita Scherbak, and tonight it’s Jake Mykitiuk who gets his chance. The shuffling means Brayden Low moves back to center after playing left wing all season. Both goaltenders received three starts during the swing through the East Division, and it’s the 16-year-old Carter Hart who gets the call for the first home game of 2015. Winger Logan Aasman remains a long-term absentee because of an upper-body injury.

SPOKANE (23-15-3-1)

Forward lines

Zwerger-Playfair-Cardiff

Rayman-Bechtold-Whittingham

Helewka-Stewart-Ka. Yamamoto

Miske-Olynek-Ke. Yamamoto

Defensive pairings

Fram-Helgesen

Sozanski-Fiala

Laday-Charif

Goaltenders

Verhelst

Hughson

Scratches: Henderson, Oneschuk, McAndrews, Brooks, Elynuik.

Notes: Spokane plays without key center Calder Brooks because of an upper-body injury. The Chiefs are also without the services of forwards Blair Oneschuk (upper body) and Hudson Elynuik (upper body) and defenseman Jordan Henderson (upper body) because of injuries. Defenseman Jeff Rayman skates as a forward. Spokane, like Everett, goes with it’s No. 2 goaltender as Tyson Verhelst gets the start.
