Note: Lines and defensive pairings are not provided during the preseason.
EVERETT
Forwards: Bajkov, Kindopp, Low, Leedahl, Laurencelle, Stadnyk, Fonteyne, Runey, Aasman, Stockl, Malenica, Wegleitner.
Defensemen: Betker, Pfeifer, Leslie, Skrumeda, Wharrie, Cochrane.
Goaltenders: Petit, Amundrud.
Scratches: Bauml, Sandhu, Millar, Jones, Nikolishin, Juulsen, MacDonald, Davis, Lotz, Hart.
Notes: Everett goes with a much less veteran lineup than in Friday’s game as overagers Kohl Bauml and Zane Jones, leading returning scorer Ivan Nikolishin, and No. 1 goaltender Austin Lotz all get the night off. Winger Nik Malenica and goaltender Mario Petit both play, insinuating that both have signed with Everett. Two 15-year-olds, defenseman Jantzen Leslie and winger Bryce Kindopp, get their first taste of WHL action.
SPOKANE
Forwards: Anderson-Dolan, Bechtold, Cardiff, Chartier, Elynuik, Helewka, Lipon, Miske, Ostir, Whittingham? Ka. Yamamoto, Ke. Yamamoto?, Zwerger.
Defensemen: Fiala, Fram, Hamaluik, Laday, Sozanski, Toporowski.
Goaltenders: Hughson, Moodie.
Scratches: Oneschuk, Ross, Stewart, Faith, Helgesen, Henderson, Rayman, Verhelst.
Notes: Spokane has at least a couple veterans who didn’t make the trip, as center Marcus Messier and defenseman Colton Bobyk are noticeably missing from the roster. Otherwise, the Chiefs field a fairly relatively lineup, given who all is here. Center Blair Oneschuk is suspended for his checking-from-behind major penalty Friday against Portland. Just one of wingers Riley Whittingham and Keanu Yamamoto will get the nod.
