Notes: For the second straight day Everett is in the rare position of having a healthy scratch, following a lengthy period of playing short. Forwards Manraj Hayer (lower body), Zane Jones (upper body) and Tyler Sandhu (upper body) remain out injured, but at least the Tips can put a full 20 players on the bench. With seven healthy defensemen, Cole MacDonald continues to play as a forward.
SPOKANE
Forward lines:

Helewka-Messier-Holmberg
Bechtold-Aviani-Whittingham
Hascic-Proft-Cardiff
Defensive pairings:
Gow-McIntosh
Bobyk-Fram

Goaltenders:

Williams
Scratches: Oneschuk, Stewart, Wedman, Elynuik.
Notes: For the first time in eight meetings this season Eric Williams doesn’t start in goal for Spokane as Garret Hughson gets the call. Forwards Liam Stewart (foot), Blair Oneschuk (upper body) and Hudson Elynuik (upper body) are out injured, while regular defenseman Cole Wedman is scratched for undisclosed reasons. Dynamic overage duo Mitch Holmberg and Mike Aviani begin the game on separate lines. The last time the Chiefs were in Everett and both Holmberg and Aviani played, they also began the game on separate lines. It lasted all of one shift before they were back together.
