So it’s 6:45 and I still haven’t received the lineups yet — the new media department for the Tips is still trying to get up to speed. Anyway, I was able to muddle out Everett’s lineup from watching warm-ups, so here you go. I’ll do Spokane once I get their lineup.
EVERETT
Forwards: Giebel, Chynoweth, Birkholz, Fowlie, Boyd, Bauml, Dolnik, Bell, Harrison, Samoridny, McPhee, Mychan.
Defensemen: Hand, Walters, Morden, Yadlowski, Henry, Adam.
Goaltenders: Lotz, Desautels.
Scratches: Maxwell, Erricson, Hayer, Winquist, Lofthouse, MacDonald, Murray, Bittner, Weich, Simpson, Siemens.
Notes: Everett goes young tonight with last season’s co-MVPs Ryan Murray and Kent Simpson both in the stands, along with last season’s leading scorer Tyler Maxwell. This one will be a challenge for the Tips, who have three potential rookies on defense and two rookie hopefuls in goal. Austin Lotz starts in net.
SPOKANE
Forwards: Gal, Stewart, Kalus, Lamothe, Holmberg, Valcourt, Kuhn, Whittingham, Chartier, Nelson, Marantz, Bechtold.
Defensemen: Fram, Vandane, Mort, King, Kichton, Baldwin.
Goaltenders: Rakochy, Edwards.
Scratches: Aviani, Bardaro, Kramer, Uher, Vanscourt, Hamblin, Gow, Wedman, Pellah, Clayton, Engel.
Notes: It’s a young group up front and an experienced duo in goal for Spokane, but the Chiefs field a pretty experienced defense with a 20 and two 19s. Jacob Edwards starts in goal.
