Everett vs. Tri-City: lineup notes

EVERETT

Forward lines:

Winquist-Hayer-Sandhu

Harrison-Bauml-Petryk

Soumelidis-Mappin-Fowlie

Leedahl-Stadnyk-Lofthouse

Defensive pairings:

Betker-Murray

Walters-Oslanski

MacDonald-Mueller

Starting goalie:

Holowenko

Scratches: Chynoweth, McPhee, Grayson, Foulk, Adam, Lotz.

Notes: Everett is without its No. 1 goaltender as Austin Lotz suffered an injury during Saturday night’s 5-2 loss at Seattle. I’ve been told Lotz tweaked a muscle while stretching a leg out to make a save and is considered week-to-week. Daniel Cotton, an emergency acquisition earlier in the day from Seattle, is the stand-in back-up, at least for tonight. The Tips make a small change to their lines as wingers Reid Petryk and Cody Fowlie swap places. Defenseman Austin Adam (hand) is out injured, while defenseman Griffin Foulk is sick. Center Ryan Chynoweth is scratched for the second straight game, and as far as I know he’s not injured.

TRI-CITY

Forward lines:

Nickles-Rankin-Dallman

Tot-Feser-Williams

Bowles-M.Messier-J.Messier?

Gutierrez-McCue-Walter

Defensive pairings:

Yuen-Tomchuk

Dow-Plutnar

Topping-Hamonic

Filbrandt?

Starting goalie:

Comrie

Scratches: Grist, Clowes, Stromwall, Mychan, J.Messier/Filbrandt.

Notes: Tri-City is without two key players as winger Malte Stromwall and defenseman Sam Grist are both scratched for reasons I’ve yet to ascertain. Also, winger Jordan Messier is listed as a question mark, though he’s taking the warm-up. If Messier can’t go, defenseman Clint Filbrandt comes into the lineup. Winger Jesse Mychan and defenseman Brodie Clowes are both out with upper-body injuries.
