Defensive pairings:

Murray-Suer

Rissanen-Yadlowski

Scratches: Walters, Morden, Giebel, Winquist, Cumiskey.

Notes: Two players return to the lineup for Everett tonight as defenseman Alex Theriau (groin) and winger Markus McCrea (concussion) both return after missing the previous three games because of injury. Center Clayton Cumiskey (concussion) is Everett’s only remaining injury. The Tips shuffle their lines as Scott MacDonald moves over to the left to play alongside Landon Ferraro and Kellan Tochkin, with Tyler Maxwell teaming up with Josh Birkholz and McCrea. The Tips go with their most-veteran option on defense as rookies Nick Walters and Evan Morden are scratched.

TRI-CITY

Wilgosh-Olstad-Rankin

Hughesman-Conrad-Macek

M. Messier-Moser

Defensive pairings:

Schmidt-Yuen

Grist-Humphries

Dow

Starting goalie:

Owsley

Scratches: Reddick, Shinnimin, Prokop, McPhee, Moline.

Notes: Tri-City is missing two of its top offensive options as center Brendan Shinnimin is serving the ninth game of his 12-game suspension and center Kruise Reddick misses out because of a concussion. Overage winger Neal Prokop is a long-term absentee because of a broken femur. The Americans decide to dress seven defensemen and 11 forwards tonight.
